The Morehead City Makos is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that coaches today’s youth on how to exercise positive leadership, responsibility, accountability, time management, physical health, positive self-worth, and good sportsmanship through competitive baseball gameplay.
We coach our team to be strong players on the field and even better people off the field. We pride ourselves on the integrity, character, teamwork, problem solving, and leadership skills of our players.
Sponsor the Makos
The Makos play in highly competitive tournaments in the Eastern Carolina region so players can implement the skills they’ve learned into live play. Sponsorships provide our players access to practice facilities, equipment, and entrance to competitive tournaments.
We Went to Cooperstown!
The Makos earned a spot to play at Cooperstown Dreams Park in Cooperstown, NY. This once in a lifetime opportunity is specifically geared towards the 12U age group. The feeling of being surrounded by the energy of past and current players is extraordinary.
It was an honor bringing our players to Cooperstown knowing they had the support of their community behind them. Thank you to the friends, family, and local businesses that helped our players take this important next step on their development journey by providing financial sponsorship for their trip to Cooperstown Dreams Park in June 2024.
